Every time I start a project, I am looking to connect with the artist and audience. Whether they are right in front of me in the current moment or miles away in the future, my projects are always looking to connect. My goal is to unify the artist with their audience as well as unify people in general. I don’t shy away from projects that aim to bring awareness to subjects that are not talked about or are taboo. I find these projects are often the ones that bring about the most unity.  This process of connecting and inspiring is very cathartic for me and I find great joy and pleasure through helping others find their voice. Throughout the course of my work, I am always checking for its authenticity: Is this what is really mean to be said? Is it being said how the artist wants it to be said? Is this the truth behind this emotion? I feel transparency and authenticity are vital to my work so I am always checking to make sure that is coming through. Bringing a voice to the voiceless is something that evokes great pleasure in me. By helping tell someone else’s story, I gain insight to a reality I may have never considered and help to amplify that awareness to others. The biggest driving force behind my projects is connection, unification, and authenticity.
